Old TV box or phone (Android 6.0 to 7.1.0) shows a security or certificate error?
These devices cannot check the secure certificate of our links. First check that the device's date and time are correct. Then type this address instead, in Downloader or in the device's browser (plain http, without "https://"):
live.z4iptv.com/dl/android
It sends the same app file without encryption. If the browser warns about an insecure download, choose Keep. You can compare the file with its fingerprint (see Check your download): SHA-256 of the current file (version 7.5): 8d5a34bba99cb269a0ddae5e02021eaae3288ef30d15ba8fd092bc6e74fbc6bf
On Android 6.0, type live.z4iptv.com/dl/android/7.3 instead: the newest version needs Android 7.0 or newer.

Android phone or tablet
What you need
- An Android phone or tablet with Android 7.0 or newer. On Android 6.0, use version 7.3 from Versions and checksums.
- About 100 MB of free space.
- The download link:
www.z4sh.com/iptv-android - If your phone has Google Play, you can also install Z4IPTV from Google Play:
www.z4sh.com/iptv-play. If you installed Z4IPTV from Google Play, keep updating it from Google Play: switching between the Google Play version and the downloaded APK may require uninstalling first (see "App not installed" below).
- On the phone, open
www.z4sh.com/iptv-androidin Chrome (or your usual browser). Tap Download. If Chrome warns 'File might be harmful', tap 'Download anyway'. - When the download finishes, tap 'Open' (or open the file from Files > Downloads).
- If Android says it is not allowed to install unknown apps from this source, tap 'Settings', switch on 'Allow from this source' for the app you opened the file with (Chrome or Files), then press Back. On Android 7 and older: Settings > Security > Unknown sources > On.
- Samsung Galaxy phones: if a pop-up says the install was blocked by Auto Blocker, go to Settings > Security and privacy > Auto Blocker > Off, then open the file again (you can switch Auto Blocker back on afterwards). Huawei phones: switch off Pure Mode (Settings > System & updates > Pure Mode, or Settings > Security > Pure Mode). Xiaomi / Redmi / POCO: let the security scan finish, then choose to continue the installation.
- Tap 'Install'. If Google Play Protect shows a warning, tap 'More details' and then 'Install anyway' (on some versions: 'Install without scanning').
- Tap 'Open' and sign in with your line (Z4Keys account, Xtream login or M3U link).
- Optional clean-up: switch 'Allow from this source' off again and delete the .apk file from Downloads.
- To update later: download the new APK the same way and tap 'Install' (or 'Update'). Your logins and favourites stay.
If it fails
- "App not installed" or "package conflicts with an existing package": a copy from another source (usually Google Play) may already be on the phone. Switching between the Google Play version and the downloaded APK may require uninstalling Z4IPTV first, then installing again. Favourites saved only on this phone are lost; lines from your Z4Keys account come back after you sign in.
- "There was a problem parsing the package": the download was cut off, or the phone is older than Android 7.0. Download the file again, and check Settings > About phone > Android version. On Android 6.0, install version 7.3 from Versions and checksums.
- Samsung: no Install button / "blocked": switch off Auto Blocker (step 4).
- Huawei with HarmonyOS NEXT or HarmonyOS 5: these phones cannot install Android apps. Use the web player at z4iptv.com.
- Security or certificate error while downloading: first check that the phone's date and time are correct. On very old phones (Android 6 or 7.0), see Old TV box or phone.
- Not enough space: free about 100 MB. Installing needs 2 to 3 times the file size.
- Do not switch Google Play Protect off permanently. "Install anyway" for this app is enough.

Android TV, Google TV and TV boxes
What you need
- An Android TV, a Google TV (for example Chromecast with Google TV or Google TV Streamer) or an Android TV box with Android 7.0 or newer, connected to the internet. On Android 6.0, use version 7.3 (see Old TV box or phone).
- The remote, and about 100 MB of free space.
- The free Downloader app (step 2 installs it).
- The code to type:
6642661(or the addresswww.z4sh.com/iptv-android)
- Turn on Developer options first. Google TV and Android TV 12 or newer only show the 'Unknown sources' switch after this. Go to Settings > System > About, scroll to 'Android TV OS build' and press OK 7 times until you see 'You are now a developer'. On older Android TV: Settings > Device Preferences > About > Build.
- Open Google Play on the TV, search for 'Downloader' (by AFTVnews; add 'AFTVnews' to the search if it does not show) and install it.
- Open Downloader and allow it to access files/media when asked.
- On the Home tab, select the address box and type the code
6642661(or the addresswww.z4sh.com/iptv-android), then select Go. Wait for the download. If you get a security or certificate error, see Old TV box or phone. - When Downloader asks, choose 'Settings' and switch Downloader to 'Allowed'. You can also go to Settings > Apps > Security & restrictions > Unknown sources > Downloader > On (on some TVs: Settings > Device Preferences > Security & restrictions > Unknown sources). Press Back.
- Select 'Install'. If Google Play Protect blocks it, select 'Details' (or 'More details') and then 'Install anyway'. Then select 'Open'.
- Delete the downloaded file in Downloader (accept its 'Delete' prompt or use the Files tab) to free space.
- Later you can find Z4IPTV under Apps > 'Your apps' > 'See all'. Long-press it to add it to your favourites row.
- Box without Google Play: open the same link in the box's web browser, or copy the APK to a USB stick (FAT32 or exFAT), plug it in, and open it with the box's file manager (File Manager, File Commander, X-plore...). When asked, allow that file manager under Unknown sources and choose Install. On old boxes (Android 7 and older) there is one switch: Settings > Security (& restrictions) > Unknown sources > On.
If it fails
- Downloader says 'Unknown Sources is disabled' instead of asking for permission: Developer options are not on yet (Google TV hides the switch until then). Repeat step 1.
- The code or address does not open: type the code
6642661, or type the address exactly, in lowercase with no spaces:www.z4sh.com/iptv-android. - Security / SSL / certificate error: check the box's date and time. Boxes on Android 6.0 to 7.1.0 cannot check our secure certificate: see Old TV box or phone.
- "App not installed": uninstall the old copy (for example the Google Play copy), then install again.
- Storage full (common on 8 GB boxes): delete old downloads, and delete the APK after installing.
- No Chromecast button: boxes without Google services have none. This is normal; everything else works.

Amazon Fire TV
What you need
- A Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Cube or Fire TV Edition TV running Fire OS (step 1 checks this).
- An internet connection and about 100 MB of free space.
- The code to type:
6642661(or the addresswww.z4sh.com/iptv-android)
- Check your device first: Settings > My Fire TV > About > Software Version. 'Fire OS ...' is fine. If it shows 'OS 1.x' or 'OS 2.x', it is Vega OS (Fire TV Stick 4K Select, 2nd-gen Fire TV Stick HD, 3rd-gen Fire TV Stick 4K) and cannot install app files. Use the web player or another device instead.
- Install Downloader: Home > Find (magnifier) > Search, type 'Downloader', choose Downloader (orange icon, by AFTVnews) > Get / Download > Open. Allow it to access files when asked.
- If Developer options are hidden, show them: Settings > My Fire TV > About, highlight the first line (your device name, e.g. 'Fire TV Stick 4K Max') and press Select 7 times until it says you are a developer. Press Back.
- Settings > My Fire TV > Developer options > Install unknown apps > Downloader > ON. On older Fire OS 6 devices: Developer options > Apps from Unknown Sources > ON > Turn On.
- Open Downloader. On the Home tab, select the address box, type the code
6642661(or exactlywww.z4sh.com/iptv-android), then select Go. If you get a security or certificate error, see Old TV box or phone. - When the download finishes, select Install, then Done (or Open).
- When Downloader offers to delete the file, select Delete and confirm with Delete again. This frees space.
- Open Z4IPTV from Your Apps & Channels (Home > the apps button). To pin it, press the Menu button (three lines) and choose Move to front.
- Alternative with a computer: Developer options > ADB debugging > ON. Find the IP at Settings > My Fire TV > About > Network. On the PC run
adb connect <IP>:5555, accept the prompt on the TV, then runadb install -r Z4IPTV-Android-<version>.apk.
If it fails
- Software version starts with OS 1 or OS 2 (Vega OS): these Fire TVs cannot install app files, and there is no workaround. Use the web player or another device.
- "This app has been blocked because it provides access to unlicensed content": Amazon blocked the install on your device. Z4IPTV is only a player and contains no channels, but this block cannot be bypassed. Use another device, or message us.
- "Unauthorized APK Installation Detected" (some TCL Fire TV sets): Amazon has blocked all app files on that TV. Only Amazon support can lift it.
- No Developer options: repeat step 3, pressing Select 7 times on the device name.
- No "Install unknown apps": on older devices it is called "Apps from Unknown Sources" (step 4).
- Security / certificate error: check the date and time, then see Old TV box or phone.
- Storage full: delete the APK after installing (step 7) and remove apps you do not use.

LG Smart TV (webOS)
What you need
- An LG TV from 2018 or newer (webOS 4.0 or newer).
- A Windows, Mac or Linux computer on the SAME home network as the TV (not a guest Wi-Fi).
- Your own free LG Developer account (step 1 creates it).
- The Z4IPTV file for LG (
.ipk), downloaded on the computer fromwww.z4sh.com/iptv-lg. - About 30 minutes the first time.
- On the computer, create a free LG Developer account: go to
webostv.developer.lge.com> Sign In > Create Account, choose your country, enter your e-mail and a password, then confirm the e-mail LG sends you. Use your OWN account: one account can be signed in on only one TV at a time. - On the TV, open the LG Content Store (called 'Apps' on newer TVs), search for 'Developer Mode' (in some regions 'webOS TV Developer Mode') and install it.
- Open the Developer Mode app, sign in with your LG Developer e-mail and password, and switch 'Dev Mode Status' ON. The TV restarts.
- Open Developer Mode again and switch 'Key Server' ON. Write down the TV's IP address and the 6-character passphrase shown at the bottom left (it is case-sensitive).
- On the computer, download Z4IPTV for LG from
www.z4sh.com/iptv-lg(the file isZ4IPTV-LG-<version>.ipk). - On the computer, download and install the free 'webOS Dev Manager' from
github.com/webosbrew/dev-manager-desktop/releases(Windows, macOS incl. Apple Silicon, Linux). - Open webOS Dev Manager > Add device. Enter the TV's IP address (port 9922 and user 'prisoner' are the defaults) and type the passphrase when asked.
- Open the Apps section, choose Install (+) and select the Z4IPTV .ipk file. Wait until it reports that the app is installed.
- Z4IPTV now appears in the TV's app list. Open it and sign in.
- Keep it working: Developer Mode runs on a timer. Open the Developer Mode app every few weeks, BEFORE 'Remain Session' reaches zero, and press 'EXTEND' (the TV must be online). webOS Dev Manager can also renew it from its Info tab. If the timer runs out, Developer Mode switches off at the next restart and Z4IPTV is removed. You then sign in again and repeat the install steps.
- Advanced alternative (command line): install Node.js, then
npm install -g @webos-tools/cli;ares-setup-device(add: name tv, the TV's IP, port 9922, user prisoner);ares-novacom --device tv --getkey(enter the passphrase);ares-install --device tv Z4IPTV-LG-<version>.ipk;ares-launch --device tv com.z4iptv.lg.
To update later: download the new .ipk and install it the same way (step 8).
If it fails
- 'Developer Mode' is not in the store: search 'webOS TV Developer Mode', update the TV's software, and check the TV's country setting. Availability differs by region.
- "failed to get ssh private key" or the passphrase is refused: Key Server must be ON, the passphrase must be typed exactly (capital and small letters), and the Developer Mode session must not have expired.
- The computer cannot find the TV: both must be on the same home network (not a guest Wi-Fi). Allow webOS Dev Manager in the computer's firewall, and check the TV's current IP in the Developer Mode app.
- Z4IPTV disappeared from the TV: the Developer Mode timer ran out. Developer Mode also switches off after the TV restarts 10 times without internet. Open Developer Mode, sign in, switch it on again, then repeat steps 4, 7 and 8.
- Signing in with the same LG Developer account on a second TV switches Developer Mode off on the first TV. Use one account per TV.
- You do not need to root the TV. Developer Mode is enough.
- Installing from a USB stick or a phone is not possible. LG only allows installs from a computer.

Samsung Smart TV (Tizen)
Samsung TVs need a one-time setup. Message us on WhatsApp and we will help: www.z4sh.com/support
What you need
- A Samsung Smart TV from 2016 or newer.
- A Windows, Mac or Linux computer, or an Android phone, on the SAME home network as the TV.
- Your own free Samsung account.
- The Z4IPTV file for Samsung (
.wgt), downloaded on that computer or phone fromwww.z4sh.com/iptv-samsung. - About 20 minutes the first time.
- Find the local IP address of the computer or phone you will install from. Windows: Settings > Network & Internet > (your connection) > Properties > IPv4 address. Android: Settings > About phone > Status (or Wi-Fi > network details) > IP address. It usually looks like 192.168.1.x.
- On the TV, open Apps (Home > Apps). While the Apps screen is open, type 1 2 3 4 5 on the remote. If your remote has no number keys, use the on-screen number pad (the 123 button).
- In the Developer mode window, switch 'Developer mode' ON, type the IP from step 1 into 'Host PC IP', and press OK. If a security confirmation appears, accept it.
- Restart the TV fully: hold the Power button until the Samsung logo appears, or unplug it for 30 seconds. 'Developer Mode' now shows at the top of the Apps screen.
- On the same computer or phone, download Z4IPTV for Samsung from
www.z4sh.com/iptv-samsung(the file isZ4IPTV-Samsung-<version>.wgt). - On the computer or phone, install the free, open-source Apps2Samsung (
apps2samsung.com: Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android via F-Droid/Obtainium). - Open Apps2Samsung. Let it find the TV, or enter the TV's IP (TV: Settings > General > Network > Network Status > IP Settings).
- Choose to install your own package (.wgt) and select the Z4IPTV .wgt file.
- When asked, sign in with YOUR Samsung account. The tool creates the signing certificate this TV needs (Samsung TVs only accept apps signed for their own device ID) and reuses it for later installs and updates.
- Wait for the install to finish. Z4IPTV appears in Apps; open it and sign in.
- To update later: install the new .wgt the same way, with the same tool and the same Samsung account.
- Advanced alternative: Tizen Studio with the TV extension and the 'Samsung Certificate Extension'. Use Device Manager to connect to the TV (port 26101), then Certificate Manager > + > Samsung > TV (the TV's DUID is filled in from the connected TV). Then re-sign the file with
tizen package -t wgt -s <profile> -- Z4IPTV-Samsung-<version>.wgtand install it withtizen install -n Z4IPTV-Samsung-<version>.wgt -t <TV-IP>:26101.
If it fails
- Error [118, -12] (certificate): the app is not signed for this TV. Install it with Apps2Samsung and sign in with your Samsung account when asked (step 9).
- The TV refuses the connection: 'Host PC IP' must be the CURRENT IP of the computer or phone. If your router gave it a new IP, enter it again (Apps > 1 2 3 4 5) and restart the TV.
- Developer mode or Z4IPTV disappeared after a factory reset or a big software update: repeat the steps from step 2.
- Installing a .wgt from a USB stick is not possible on Samsung home TVs.
- The TV refuses an update: install it with the same tool and the same Samsung account, or uninstall the old copy first. You will then need to sign in to the app again.
- Error [118, -14] or [118, -20]: the file itself has a problem. Send us the error code on WhatsApp.
- 2026 TVs may show an extra security confirmation when you switch Developer mode on. Accept it.

Windows PC
What you need
- Windows 10 or 11, 64-bit. Windows 11 on ARM runs it through emulation.
- A few hundred MB of free space. The app includes a full video engine.
- The installer:
www.z4sh.com/iptv-windows. Or the portable version (no install):www.z4sh.com/iptv-windows-portable.
- Download
Z4IPTV-Setup-<version>.exe(recommended). If you prefer not to install, download the portableZ4IPTV-Portable-<version>.exe. - If the browser warns: in Edge choose ... > Keep > Show more > Keep anyway; in Chrome choose Keep (or 'Download suspicious file').
- Open the file. If you see 'Windows protected your PC' (Microsoft Defender SmartScreen), click 'More info' and then 'Run anyway'. This appears once per new version because the app is not code-signed yet.
- In the installer, keep the suggested folder (or choose another), click Install, then Finish. A 'Z4IPTV' shortcut is added to the Desktop and the Start menu.
- If Windows says 'Smart App Control blocked an app that may be unsafe', there is no per-app override. Either use the web player, or open Windows Security > App & browser control > Smart App Control settings > Off. On older Windows 11 builds it cannot be switched back on without reinstalling Windows; recent 24H2/25H2 updates allow switching it on again.
- To update: run the newer installer over the old one (your settings stay). For the portable version, replace the .exe.
If it fails
- Smart App Control blocks it: see step 5.
- Your antivirus deleted or quarantined the file: this is a common false alarm for apps that are not code-signed yet. Compare the file's SHA-256 with the one in Versions and checksums on this page, and restore it only if they match.
- Windows 7, 8 or 8.1: not supported. Use the web player at z4iptv.com.

Mac
What you need
- macOS 13 Ventura or newer.
- To know your Mac's chip: Apple menu > About This Mac. 'Chip: Apple M...' means Apple silicon:
www.z4sh.com/iptv-mac(Z4IPTV-<version>-arm64.dmg). 'Processor: Intel' means Intel:www.z4sh.com/iptv-mac-intel(Z4IPTV-<version>-x64.dmg). - Your Mac password (needed once).
- Download the .dmg that matches your Mac, open it, drag Z4IPTV onto the Applications folder, then eject the disk image.
- Open Applications and double-click Z4IPTV. macOS will refuse the first time ('Z4IPTV Not Opened' / 'Apple could not verify...'). Click Done. Do NOT click Move to Trash.
- Open Apple menu > System Settings > Privacy & Security, scroll down to Security and click 'Open Anyway' (it shows for about an hour after the blocked attempt). Enter your Mac password, then click Open. macOS remembers this, so later you just double-click.
- On macOS 13 Ventura and 14 Sonoma you can instead Control-click (right-click) the app > Open > Open. macOS 15 Sequoia and later removed this shortcut.
- To update: download the new .dmg and drag it into Applications, choosing Replace.
If it fails
- "Z4IPTV is damaged and can't be opened": open Terminal and run
xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/Z4IPTV.app, then open the app again. - No 'Open Anyway' button: it only shows for about an hour after macOS blocked the app. Double-click Z4IPTV again, then go back to Privacy & Security.
- The app will not start on an Intel Mac: you downloaded the Apple silicon file. Download the Intel one:
www.z4sh.com/iptv-mac-intel. - macOS 12 Monterey or older: not supported. Use the web player at z4iptv.com.

Linux
What you need
- A 64-bit (x86-64) PC on a current distribution (Ubuntu, Debian, Fedora...).
- Debian / Ubuntu:
www.z4sh.com/iptv-linux-deb(z4iptv-desktop_<version>_amd64.deb). Any distribution:www.z4sh.com/iptv-linux(Z4IPTV-<version>.AppImage).
- Debian / Ubuntu (recommended): download the .deb and run
sudo apt install ./z4iptv-desktop_<version>_amd64.debin a terminal (or double-click it to open the Software app). Start Z4IPTV from the applications menu. - Any distribution (AppImage): download the .AppImage, make it executable (right-click > Properties > Permissions > Allow executing as program, or
chmod +x Z4IPTV-*.AppImage), then double-click it. - To update: install the new .deb the same way, or replace the AppImage file.
If it fails
- The AppImage does not start: install FUSE 2:
sudo apt install libfuse2on Ubuntu 22.04, orsudo apt install libfuse2t64on Ubuntu 24.04 and newer. - The AppImage closes immediately on Ubuntu 24.04 or newer (Electron sandbox blocked by AppArmor): use the .deb instead, or start it from a terminal with
./Z4IPTV-<version>.AppImage --no-sandbox. - Wayland: start it with
--ozone-platform=x11if you want the optional mpv player engine. - ARM computers (for example a Raspberry Pi): not supported yet. Use the web player.

iPhone, iPad and Apple TV
- There is no file to download for iPhone, iPad or Apple TV. Apple only allows apps from the App Store (or Apple's TestFlight beta app). Downloaded app files cannot be installed.
- When Z4IPTV is on the App Store: open the App Store link on the device and tap Get.
- Until then (or on older devices): use the web player. Open z4iptv.com in Safari, and optionally tap Share > Add to Home Screen for an app-like icon.
Questions? Message us on WhatsApp: www.z4sh.com/support
Web browser (no install)
- Open z4iptv.com in Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Safari on a computer, phone or tablet. There is nothing to install.
- Sign in with your Z4Keys account, Xtream login or M3U link.
- If your provider's streams are plain http, the player offers to open the compatible player (
http://live.z4iptv.com). Accept it. If Chrome shows 'Not secure', choose Continue to site. Your password is never put in the link. - Optional: install it like an app. In Chrome or Edge use the 'Install' icon in the address bar; on iPhone use Share > Add to Home Screen.
- This is the fallback for Fire TV devices on Vega OS, iPhone/iPad/Apple TV until the App Store version is out, LG/Samsung owners without a computer, and old Macs or PCs. Smart TV built-in browsers (LG Web Browser, Samsung Internet) may also work, with limitations.
Note: some films have no sound in a browser (AC-3 / E-AC-3 / DTS audio). The TV and desktop apps play them.

New to IPTV? Start here
What you need
- An IPTV line (a subscription). Buy or renew one at z4keys.com, or use a line from your own provider.
- Your line details. Providers send them in one of two forms:
- Xtream Codes login: a server address (for example
http://example-server.com:8080), a username and a password. - M3U link: one long address that usually ends with
.m3uor containsget.php?username=
- Xtream Codes login: a server address (for example
- An app: Z4IPTV on your device (see Choose your device) or the web player.
Sign in to Z4IPTV
- Open Z4IPTV and choose how to sign in: Xtream Login, M3U Playlist or Z4Keys Account.
- Xtream Login: type the Server URL exactly as you received it, with
http://(orhttps://) and the port, for example:8080. Then type your Username and Password and tap Sign In. - M3U Playlist: paste the whole M3U link into M3U Playlist URL and tap Sign In.
- Z4Keys Account: sign in with the e-mail and password of your z4keys.com account to use the lines you bought there.
- On a TV: scan the QR code on the screen with your phone and type the details on the phone. It is much easier than the remote.
- The first time, wait while the channels, movies and series load (up to a minute on big lines). Then open Live TV, the TV guide, Movies or Series.
Use the same line in other IPTV apps
Your line also works in most other IPTV player apps. Look for one of these options in the app:
- Xtream Codes (also called "Xtream Codes API", "Login with Xtream" or "XC"): enter any name for the playlist, then the Username, the Password and the Server URL (some apps call it Host, Portal URL or URL with port).
- M3U (also called "M3U URL", "Playlist URL" or "Add playlist"): paste the M3U link.
- TV guide: if the app asks for an EPG or XMLTV link, for an Xtream line it is usually your server address followed by
/xmltv.php?username=USERNAME&password=PASSWORD - Choose Xtream Codes when the app offers it: you get movies and series with posters, the TV guide and catch-up. Use M3U for players that only accept playlists, for example VLC.
If it does not work
- "Invalid login" or "Authentication failed": check the username and password (capital and small letters matter, no spaces) and that your line is still active.
- Server not found or nothing loads: the Server URL must start with
http://(orhttps://) and end with the port, exactly as sent. Do not add/get.phpor anything after the port. - Channels load but do not play: try a few channels. If none play, your line may be in use on too many devices: sign out on the others, or ask your provider.
- In a web browser: plain-http streams play on the compatible address
http://live.z4iptv.com(see Web browser). - Z4IPTV is a player only: it does not include any channels. Everything you watch comes from your line.
